The 10 Commandments of Kindergarten

Avery can now recite the 10 Commandments from memory (we used our fingers to help remember them...like 6 - hold up six fingers and act like one hand is a turkey and the other finger is an arrow for "Don't Kill"). Here is his version of them:
1. Keep God #1
2. Don't worship statues (two fingers like two eyes on a statue)
3. Don't misuse God's name (hold up 3 fingers and point them toward the floor to make an "M" in "Misuse")
4. Keep the Sabbath holy (four fingers for four words)
5. Obey your mom and dad (he remembers it since he is 5, and that is what he should do every day)
6. Don't Kill
7. Be loyal to your husband and wife
8. "Eight. It isn't great to steal."
9. "Number Nine. Never lie."
10. Don't be jealous of other people's stuff (hold out 10 fingers like you are trying to grab something)

Now I can remember them too! I love that side-effect of homeschooling :)
