Kindergarten has started! We're doing a unit on bugs to start off the year, since that is the little guy's favorite subject right now. We catch live bugs, look them up in the bug encyclopedia and read about them. We draw pictures of bugs, and make play doh bugs.
I really try hard not to show him that I am EXTREMELY grossed out! I had to hold a great big dead beetle yesterday while he studied it. Ewww!
The math curriculum and reading / spelling curriculum that I have for Kindergarten is already almost obsolete. In the next few months we'll have to start using the 1st grade stuff. Thanks to gramma and grampa we were able to purchase some new books and tools...don't know what we would do without them!
