Katydid - like a grasshopper with wings that look like leaves. We looked him up in our bug encyclopedia, but then he started to stink so we had to throw him outside. Yuck!
Moth caterpillar - my friend and I were walking out of Taco Bell with cups of water in our hands. She lifted her cup up to take a drink, and this little guy was floating in her water! We had a good laugh that brought tears to our eyes, and then I took "Fuzzball" as he has come to be known home to Avery. We've had him for almost a week, feeding him spinach leaves and water - waiting for him to turn into a moth. It's so interesting to watch their little legs and mouth move!
